Join the Green Durham Association and the Ontario Headwaters Institute at 10 am Sunday, October 16 for a guided walk and the dedication of a new trail through Walker Woods, which shows the hike location and trail information. The Green Durham Association was one of the 20 partners in the 2015 launch of the OHI’s Headwater Hikes program, and have done a huge amount of work creating this trail and a system of directional signage. We look forward to joining them and seeing the fall colours that grace the top of the Moraine – a source of many of Ontario streams and much of our region’s groundwater.
